Currently Building

We have recently completed infrastructure on our new subdivision in west Port Angeles, and in December 2011 we completed the first house there. In January 2012 we broke ground for the second house and construction is on-going.

Our neighboring affliliate in East Jefferson County is also currently building, and may be able to put additional volunteers to work. For information visit their website from our "Links" page.

Join Us!

Our normally scheduled work days are Wednesdays and Saturdays with work beginning at 9:00 a.m., lunch (supplied) around noon and finishing between 3:30 and 4:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted. Please contact the office before planning to help at the worksite. An application is required and schedules and volunteer needs vary.

Once scheduled, if you arrive early, please do not begin work until after the morning safety meeting and you have been assigned a task by a crew leader.

We also ask that you download and read our Safety Guidelines (.pdf file) and attend a volunteer orientation before coming out to work at the site.

We occasionally have to cancel due to inclement weather or other factors; and, we may also arrange for a work party on days other than our normal Wednesday and Saturday schedule. As a result, we suggest calling our office at 360-681-6780, to confirm these dates in the event you plan on stopping by the site.
