If you or someone you know is in need of decent, affordable housing, please call or email our office (see link at the bottom of the page) for an application, or for more information about the process of applying for Habitat home ownership. We are currently starting the selection process for two families for two new homes - one in Forks and one in Port Angeles. Selection will take place between March and May with decisions expected by early June. Please contact us to be notified about informational meetings for applicants.
 

Application Guidelines

All Applicants Must:

1. Demonstrate the need for adequate shelter based on current housing.

• Structural safety, integrity, and mechanical functions
• Size of living quarters
• Temporary housing
• Cost of housing

2. Show an ability to pay based on the following minimum and maximum income levels:

3. Have a willingness to partner with Habitat by:

• Participation in construction of your own home and the home(s) of others.
• Repayment of interest-free mortgage to Habitat.
• Accumulation of closing costs.
• Attendance at all required Homeowner Workshops.

Additional Requirement: one year's residency in Clallam County.
