Board Members & Advisory Council

We believe…

Our Board and Advisory Council are made up of dedicated local community members. Learn more about them below.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee for Habitat for Humanity of Clallam County acts on behalf of the full Board between regular meetings to keep the organization’s work moving smoothly. This group, typically the Board officers, helps guide high-level decision making, supports the Executive Director, and addresses time-sensitive matters that cannot wait for a full Board vote. They ensure strong governance, monitor organizational health, and prepare key issues for Board discussion so the full Board can focus on strategic direction and mission impact.

I believe…

every door
opens an opportunity

Life is challenging, and often, all a person needs is the right opportunity to set them on the path to a brighter future. By working with families to get them into stable housing, Habitat can provide that opportunity, and best of all, the effects ripple out to benefit so many others.

I believe…

every child
deserves to live in stability

I have personally witnessed how a stable address impacts a child’s life. From their mental well-being to their physical involvement in the world around them. This includes not only sports, but also volunteering and greater engagement in family events.

I believe…

every door
opens an opportunity

Every door opens an opportunity for familiies to have housing affordability and stability. Habitat Clallam set families up for success. I am a mortgage lender and I see firsthand how hard it is for low to moderate income families to qualify for a home. Habitat opens those doors.

I believe…

everyone
deserves a decent place to live

I believe every brick is a building block. I believe this because nothing big can happen without a lot of little things happening. And while a big picture may be intimidating, focusing on one positive step at a time over and over grows into the big thing in the end. Every brick is a piece of someone’s dream. Every brick is a piece of someone’s future. One person can get one thing done, but together we can all take a brick and build a home, a dream, a future. We are better together, each of us has something to contribute, and every brick is one step closer to something big.

deserves a decent place to live

Owning a home builds generational wealth, reducing financial insecurity while providing low-income families stability and a safety net for future generations. Children of homeowners often thrive in school due to consistent attendance, dedicated study spaces, and reduced stress at home.

I believe…

everyone
deserves a decent place to live

Home is a key element in uniting the family and providing the stability necessary for a person to grow into a well-adjusted, balanced adult. Strengthening families is essential to creating a better, happier, and safer society, and a stable home plays a crucial role in making that possible.

I believe…

every door
opens an opportunity

As a young family, we faced a great need for food, support, and a helping hand. Through the generosity of family, friends—and even strangers—we were able to stay afloat. That experience fueled my passion and deep understanding of the challenges many families face today. I’m honored to offer my support and help others in similar circumstances.

I believe…

every parent
wants a better future for their family

Adequate housing is a basic human right and the foundation of a healthy, thriving life. A safe, well-designed home supports mental wellbeing, creates space for growth and opportunity, and strengthens entire communities. I believe housing should do more than provide shelter. It should help people flourish.

I believe…

every parent
wants a better future for their family

As a wife and mother of two, I know how important a stable home can be for a family. Safe and affordable homeownership strengthens families, improves children’s well-being and educational outcomes, and allows individuals to become more engaged in their communities. Ultimately, stable housing serves as the foundation for families to thrive and for children to grow, learn, and succeed. By partnering with working families, Habitat helps remove barriers to homeownership while fostering dignity, hope, and long-term financial security.

every parent
wants a better future for their family

The lack of affordable housing does not just burden families—it affects individuals, weakens communities, and undermines local economic stability. It reduces consumer spending, drives up employee turnover, and makes it increasingly difficult for businesses to attract and retain workers. At the same time, rising housing costs deepen social challenges by extending waitlists for affordable units and placing even greater financial strain on low-income households

In rural communities, that basic right is often out of reach. Habitat builds more than homes; it builds opportunity, dignity, and hope. Through partnership and volunteerism, Habitat creates affordable housing solutions that allow families to put down roots and thrive.
